How to size your nails
Step 1: Grab a piece of transparent tape and stick it on your nail bed. Make sure the tape lays flat on the nail and touches the skin on both sides.
Step 2: With a pen, mark the spot where the tape creases at the edge of the nail and surrounding skin. You should have a line on either side of the nail bed.
Step 3: Remove the tape from the nail and lay flat against a ruler. if you don’t have a physical ruler, look up an image online and zoom in to the size of a quarter.
Step 4: Record the size of each nail bed in millimeters for both hands. Compare with size guide. If deciding between two sizes, choose the larger one— nails can be filed to fit!
Hint: This can also be done with a soft measuring tape as long as it lays flush to the nail bed and is measured accurately from side wall to side wall. For questions with sizing, refer to the contact page!
How to choose a shape and length
Shape: Using the shape guide to the right, try to choose a shape that catches your eye first! Or, if you have a specific design in mind, try searching up related nail art to see which shape was chosen. Or, you can always have me choose for you! :)
Length: I offer 3 lengths of short, medium, and long. The length can always be found in the description of a product. For premade sets, length is NOT subject to change unless a custom order is placed.
